East Riding Education and Skills Partnership (14-19)

Welcome to the East Riding Education and Skills Partnership (ESP) (14-19).

The ESP is a voluntary Partnership of stakeholders in education and training that supports strategic activity and cross-sector collaboration across the range of 14-19 Pathways (see below). 

Membership is open to any education and training provider and/or stakeholder organisation serving East Riding learners.

The ESP Team of 2 delivers continuous development opportunities (CPD) and the log on move on careers gateway service. The team works with other council departments such as Economic Development Service and 0-25 SEND team and external organisations such as Job Centre Plus and Local Enterprise Councils (LEPs) anyone who has an interest in education and training. 

In 2018/19 the team supported a small number of primary schools to achieve a nationally recognised award in Careers Education. 

The Log on Move on Careers gateway is an online prospectus to search and apply for education, training and apprenticeship opportunities, log your skills that employers are looking for using the employability skills passport, create a CV and research career options.

The ESP membership

All partners are invited to become members. 

The membership fee is £300. 

Partners who are not members are welcome to participate in activities on a pay-as-you-go basis. 

In recognition of, and in response to the shared CPD needs of partners, a programme of CPD activities is offered throughout the academic year. 

For 2019/20 these include: 

  • Participation and progression forum for career leaders. 3 per annum

  • Careers guidance practitioners network. 3 per annum

  • Annual conference.
     

Adhoc theme-based sessions can also take place throughout the year.
