' our performance indicators have improved and continue to improve ' - Sara Harrop, Learning Partnership Manager
The third annual 14-19 event took place on 2nd October 2007 at Cave Castle, South Cave.
The purpose of the event was to firstly recognise and celebrate your achievements in delivering the East Riding 14-19 strategy for
learning and secondly, and most important, to inspire you to meet the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead.
Cave Castle hotel and conference venue
It has been an exciting year locally: our performance indicators have improved and continue to improve and local partnerships and
collaborative are stronger than ever, however, as you know, there are challenges ahead for all in delivering a broad and accessible curriculum
and in meeting the 2013 entitlement for all our young people across our area.
Speakers from across the country joined us this year:
- Gareth Griffiths, Director of 14-19 provision and attainment, national LSC office, Coventry;
- Helen McMullen, Deputy regional director of children and learners directorate Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber;
- and Teresa Bergin, Head of sector skills, qualifications and skills division QCA.
