Curriculum Entitlement
Quality Assurance
Young people in the East Riding are entitled to consistently high quality learning experiences in schools, colleges and
work-based learning providers.
They are entitled to a high quality of teaching and training as judged by the OfSTED Common Inspection criteria, and which
take account of individual learning styles.
Local Area Partnerships have shared CPD programmes to disseminate good practice and continuously improve teaching and
learning across all providers.
There is robust and systematic analysis of learner performance against local and national benchmarks, by the providers
themselves and by the Local Authority School Improvement Service and the LSC with the aim of building on strengths and
addressing any areas for development.
Learners’ opinions of their courses and experiences are collected by providers, highly valued, and used by them to improve
learners’ classroom or workshop experience.
In preparation for the diplomas, common Quality Assurance documentation has been developed for collaborative provision
across both Hull and the East Riding.
