East Riding Supply Service - Registration Fee
Teachers offered supply placements through the East Riding Supply Service are paid and employed by the schools engaging them, and not by the Supply Service, the days they work are:
- paid in accordance with the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document
- able to counted as reckonable service for pension purposes (teachers).
None of the above conditions apply to teachers employed and provided by agencies.
In order to continue to operate in this way, we have to raise an amount of money which covers running costs, and this will come from two sources:
- a contribution paid directly by schools and other service users
- a registration fee paid by all those individuals who register independently for supply work.
The annual registration fee effective from 1 September 2015 has been kept to a minimum, but has been increased for the first time since 2011 in line with increased running costs to:
- £45.00 for teachers
- £22.00 for support staff
