We now offer a comprehensive supply and support service to schools:
All our supply teachers have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- a current, valid DBS
- 2 appropriate references
- and have attended a face-to-face interview.
We have available primary and secondary trained supply teachers across the authority.
We have extended the number of secondary supply teachers and all subjects are available on our register.
We are now able to offer a shortlist of suitable applicants for any posts you may have vacant.
We will provide you with a list of interested people plus a copy of their application form for the Supply Service.
Working with schools we are able to tailor this service to meet your needs.
We have NQTs, both primary and secondary and also teachers who are looking for longer-term supply ie. maternity cover, long-term sickness etc.
We can also offer this service for TAs and other posts.
We have a register, for primary and secondary of qualified teachers who have been trained as One-to-One tutors.
Teaching Assistants Level 1, 2 and 3 on our register.
Most are trained and confident in primary schools.
We have a number who are trained and confident in secondary schools.
Some are trained in specialist areas, i.e. sensory, physical, medical and autistic spectrum disorders and we are looking to expand this pool of staff.
We also have a number who are HLTA-trained and experienced.
We now have a pool of administrators on our register who are available to provide administration cover when necessary.
They are trained on SIMS and are familiar with many school systems; registers, dinner money, SIMS, finance etc.
