The Numbers: Facts and Fiction theme rather than being a
restriction provided for opportunities for diverse responses
under the umbrella title.
The basic premise was, obviously that all creative activities should be number-based.
The theme was designed to provide a direct link with the Primary Strategy and to promote adventurous and imaginative investigations
into the nature of numbers, to develop arts-led, cross-curricular work celebrating the significance of numbers, which in some cases
also embraced cultural and ethnic diversity.
The theme provided opportunities for self-expression, for significant questioning, for giving vent to creative ideas - all the things
that the arts do best.
The images of the exhibition provide a snapshot of the excellent work that took place.
