The morning of this day will be lead by the senior examiner for the synoptic A2 unit of the AQA B syllabus. Because this INSET is concerned with text analysis and critical reading, it should be of benefit to all even if your school is not doing this syllabus. The afternoon will discuss KS4 and KS3 issues.
Objectives:
  • To provide updated INSET on the synoptic unit for A2 AQA B (Unseen texts)
  • To share good practice on differentiation and guided work
  • To discuss KS4 issues, particularly approaches to poetry.
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an admin. charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.
A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
