Information:
This course is part of the Core Programme for the implementation of the Secondary Strategy. This is the third of the termly meetintg for school Strategy Managers for the academic year 2004-05.
The purpose of the day is to keep you up-to-date with the latest developments at national level and provide the opportunity to reflect on these developments in light of your own school improvement priorities.
In 2005-06 there will be a focus on the development of coaching activities and the use of the TLSS materials across the school. This meeting will address these two priorities together with the whole school themes Literacy and Learning and Leading in Learning, settingh this in the context of Personalised Learning. Consideration will also be given to the effective implementation of whole school themes.

 

 

Objectives:
  • To develop further participants' understanding of the implications of the latest guidance documents from the Nationals Strategy.
  • To help participants reflect on how this guidance can be used to greatest effect to improve learning and teaching and raise achievement.
  • To identify how key messages can be diseminated to other colleagues in school.
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an administration charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.  A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
