Information:
This course will help Year 1 class teachers to become familiar with
the Foundation Stage curriculum and assessment process.
The course will also focus on the Foundation Stage assessment outcomes
and how these can be used to inform planning in Year 1. |
Objectives:
- To develop an understanding about the Foundation Stage curriculum
and provision.
- To familiarise teachers with the statutory assessment process
undertaken in the Foundation Stage.
- To enhance the transition procedures (FS/Yr1) in schools.
- To enable Year 1 teachers to use the Foundation Stage assessment
outcomes effectively.
