Information: This course is aimed
at teachers and teaching assistants.
This course is aimed at the non-ICT specialist and is designed to
support teachers when preparing to deliver the QCA units of work
in Year 5. It offers an overview of the units to be covered in one
year. Suggestions for teachers working with mixed-age classes
will be included.
An overview of the 'Control' units of work will be included
on the course - for those teachers who wish to spend longer on this
topic further CPD courses are available this term (S2C3043 and S2C3044).

Objectives:
- To give an overview of the resources needed to cover the ICT
units of work in Year 5.
- To provide an opportunity for participants to work with software
that might be used to deliver these units of work.
- To develop teacher understanding of expectations for ICT in
Year 5.
- To consider the embedding of ICT across the curriculum.
