Information: This course is aimed at teachers and teaching assistants.
This course is aimed at the non-ICT specialist and is designed to support teachers when preparing to deliver the QCA units of work in Year 4. It offers an overview of the units to be covered in one year. Suggestions for teachers working with mixed-age classes will be included.
NB. It may be possible to book this training day to take place in your own school using your own equipment. Please email primary.ict@eastriding.gov.uk for further details.

 

Objectives:
  • To give an overview of the resources needed to cover the ICT units of work in Year 4.
  • To provide an opportunity for participants to work with software that might be used to deliver these units of work.
  • To develop teacher understanding of expectations for ICT in Year 4.
  • To consider the embedding of ICT across the curriculum.
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an administration charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.  A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
