Information:
Primary NQTs will consider pedagogy, resources and issues around
the embedding of ICT into learning and teaching in history. Some
available software and internet resources will be explored. The
use of the interactive whiteboard and display technology as tools
for learning and teaching in history will be considered as will
the use of the ICT suite as well as other peripherals, such as cameras
and scanners etc.
Participants will consider ways to make effective cross-curricular
links in history and creativity in learning and teaching.
Current national and local initiatives to embed ICT across the curriculum
will be shared.
