Information:
This training and its associated practice will contribute towards the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) criteria for accreditation in the HEALTHY SCHOOOL AWARD.
This training day is aimed at primary Healthy School Award co-ordinators. The day will comprise a mixture of presentations, workshops and discussions on healthy school activity. Networking and the sharing of effective practice will be a feature of the day. The keynote presentation for the day will be on a relevant and topical issue in healthy schools work.

 

Objectives:
  • To update delegates on national and local healthy school initiatives and developments.
  • To support co-ordinators in achieving Healthy School Status for their school.
  • To network and share effective practice in healthy school activity.
  • To address co-ordinator concerns and issues.
  • To have an interesting, worthwhile and informative day.
  • To present awards to successfully accredited schools.
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an administration charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.  A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
