Information:
This is a re-run of the courses previously held at Cascade Training Suite and Goole INSET Centre in the autumn and spring terms. It is an introductory one-day course, which will look at how teaching assistants can support teachers and pupils using interactive SMARTboard technology in the classroom. Participants will have practical experience of using a SMARTboard and will learn how to use the software. There will be time to explore available resources and to make SMARTboard Notebook files for use in the classroom.
This is an introductory course, designed for teaching assistants who have a basic knowledge of the SMARTboard and wish to learn more.

Objectives:
  • To familiarise teaching assistants with using an interactive whiteboard.
  • To explore available resources for use on the SMARTboard.
  • To learn to create resources to use on the SMARTboard.
  • To provide support for teachers in using the SMARTboard in lessons.
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an administration charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.  A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
