Information:
The content of the Introduction to Gymnastics for Teachers course
has been designed for teachers who require some help in understanding
the basics of gymnastics. Many teachers find teaching gymnastics
a daunting prospect, as they may lack a depth of knowledge of basic
moves and gymnastic principles. This modular course aims to rectify
this and give teachers confidence in approaching gymnastics. Along
with our other teachers' courses, it aims to help teachers gain
access to gymnastics information and develop their expertise in
a non-threatening practical environment. These courses link into
the British Gymnastics General Gymnastics Coaching course syllabi
for those who wish to go further in the sport. Teachers who attend
the management course and any others will gain British Gymnastics
Accreditation.
