Information: This course provides an opportunity to work with renowned textile artist Michael Brennand-Wood.
Michael is a very skilful and talented artist with an international reputation. If you're unfamiliar with his stimulating and thought provoking creations thaen this is an ideal opportunity to get to know his work, work alongside him and learn some useful and inspiring techniques. Philip will demonstrate how to create mixed media and woven outcomes from found materials. The course costs include a collection of materials for each participant specially selected by the artist prior to the course.

 

Objectives:
  • To work with and alongside a leading professional artist.
  • To create and develop mixed media work from found materials.
  • To investigate techniques and ideas which can then be developed in the classroom.
  • To extend the skills and artistic good practice of teachers and TAs.
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an administration charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.  A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
