Information:
Based in the inspiring surroundings of Burton Agnes Hall this course offers NQTs an exciting opportunity to use the house and gardens as a stimulus for a day of drawing and developmental activities. The course is aimed at both the beginner as well as the experienced art practitioner and will provide opportunities for the exchange of good practice with colleagues and to develop practical ideas for drawing and creative art work that will be useful in the classrooms.

 

Objectives:
  • To try out a variety of drawing techniques and media
  • To develop and extend drawings in a variety of ways including changing scale and surface.
  • To use the unique resource of Burton Agnes Hall and its gardens as a stimulus for drawings and creative development.
  • To try out creative ideas which can then be used in the classroom.
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an administration charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.  A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
