Information:
This course is aimed at Primary Leading Design and Technology Co-ordinators, Primary Leading Science Co-ordinators and teachers who have received a whiteboard from the recommendation of their link adviser.
Participants should bring their own laptops and power leads to the venue. A laptop with appropriate whiteboard software loaded on will be essential.
This will be a completely practical day aimed at those invited teachers who wish to extend their understanding of the interactive whiteboard and develop their own resources to match the needs of the children they teach. There will be opportunities to work alongside others to share ideas as well as gain experience in using the software for their whiteboard. The course tutors will work alongside teachers as needed. It is hoped that those teachers attending the course will have in mind resources that they want to develop in preparation for the day. Please note that the venue only has a SMARTboard, but both Promethean and SMARTboard users are invited.

Objectives:
  • To know how to use interactive whiteboard software.
  • To be able to create resources for use on the whiteboard.
  • To be able to work with colleagues to share ideas and develop strategies for using IWBs across the curriculum
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an administration charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.  A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
