Information:
Jason Bangbala is an Educational Consultant specialising in positive
behaviour management and pupils' personal and social development.
He is also an active classroom practitioner. He has taught in challenging
areas in challenging schools with challenging pupils and has undertaken
a variety of roles including Senior Teacher, Learning Support Co-ordinator,
Head of Year and Head of Special Needs. He has worked in EBD schools,
LEA Behaviour Support Teams and Pupil Referral Units.
Jason last worked in the East Riding of Yorkshire in the Summer
Term 2004. Course delegates always comment very favourably on the
quality of his training which they describe as 'enjoyable', 'realistic'
and 'practical'.

Objectives:
Course participants will:
- Learn about the different types of pupil teachers are likely
to encounter.
- Gain an understanding of behaviour management from the perspective
of the pupil.
- Be given practical strategies to manage inappropriate behaviour
quickly, effectively and non-confrontationally.
- Undertake video analysis of a lesson focusing on the 'settled
start'.
- Discuss practical activities to cater for different types of
learners that can be implemented immediately in the classroom.
