The Diploma in Society, Health and Development provides opportunities for learners to develop an understanding of the importance of four sectors: health, social care, the children's workforce and community justice and their role in the wider community.
You will explore issues such as valuing diversity, health, wellbeing and different lifestyles.
The Diploma allows you to experience partnerships in practice and the ways agencies and settings work together to provide services.
You will be able to gain an awareness and knowledge of the skills needed to deal with some of the most vulnerable members of society and learn the skills, including problem solving, and teamworking that are important for success in this sector.
