Approved Coach/Bus/Taxi Contractors
The link below gives East Riding of Yorkshire schools access to a current list of contractors
that have been assessed and approved by the Council's Transport Services Group to provide transport for children to and from schools/care
homes etc.
This list only includes companies that have specifically requested assessment for this purpose, and does not imply that other companies, which are
not on this list, are in any way unsafe or unsuitable for providing group or public transport.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council approved contractors have satisfied inspectors from the Council's Transport Services Team that their operating
procedures and safety management systems are adequate, and that they comply with a range of East Riding of Yorkshire Council's requirements (such as only providing drivers who have been CRB cleared).
If East Riding of Yorkshire Council schools and young people groups wish to use other contractors, they are advised to use only reputable and reliable
providers.
If you are in any doubt, form (EV3) in the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Educational Visits Safety Guidelines can be sent to coach/bus providers
to obtain assurances regarding their operating procedures and safety management systems.
