Important Information for Higher Level Teaching Assistants

Arrangements for the Funding of Teaching Assistants Who Wish to Obtain HLTA Status: Summer Term 2008
We are now inviting applications for funding for Training and Preparation for Summer Term 2008.
Route 7: Training and Preparation (5 Days) plus a training focus (3 Days) on the use of Interactive Technology to support Learning and Teaching.
 The closing date for applications is Tuesday 8th April 2008. All applicants and their Head teacher will be informed of the outcome by e-mail by Monday 14th April 2008.
The ICT training will take place at Unit 3D of the Science Park at the University of Hull between 0930 and 1530 on the following
dates:
Day 1: 9th May 2008 - Please note that HLTAs who already have the status but would like to up-skill can also take part in these 3 days of training - contact us for more details.
Day 2: 6th June 2008
Day 3: 11th July 2008
The 5-Days of training and preparation will take place on:
Day 1: Thursday 24th April 2008
Day 2: Monday 19th May 2008
Day 3: Tuesday 20th May 2008
Day 4: Friday 20th June 2008
Day 5: Tuesday 15th July 2008
