National Partnership Project (Yorkshire and Humber)
The Teacher Training Agency has set up an 'Initial Teacher Training
Partnership' regional project.
The project aims to develop the quantity and quality of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) placements
in the region to ensure sufficient new teachers for the future.
This is being approached through partnership work between all
Higher Education Institutions, LEAs and interested schools in the
region.
Yorkshire and Humber Region has already undertaken a substantial
number of innovative projects which are impacting on ITT and are
reproduced here.
