ICT Conference and Exhibition 2009
20th October 2009, 9.00am - 3.30pm at Bridlington Spa
Inspiring Creative Technology has been chosen this year as the theme for the event.
There will be two keynote speakers from the world of creative technology in the curriculum, workshops and
exhibition stands focusing on the inspiring and creative use of technology in learning and teaching, and plenty of
opportunities throughout the day to network with likeminded colleagues.
So come along and be part of this exciting day at the seaside.
Buckets and spades optional, ICT expertise optional, enthusiasm essential.
In the run up to the event we are hosting a competition for schools where you can win prizes to enhance your
creative use of ICT - see details below:
Competition - "Telling Tales in and out of School"

Fitting in with this year's theme of 'inspiring creative technology', we are a holding a competition for the best entry in the following categories.
(The competition is for primary and secondary pupils - schools can enter - and there are three categories for each phase.)
1. One minute* of movie (video/photostory/animation).
Prize: Flip video camera.
2. One minute* of sound (speech/music/noise/sound collage).
Prize: Digital sound recorders.
3. One photographic image (monochrome/colour/photocollage).
Prize: Digital Blue video head camera.
* Approximate timing - we are not going to check too strictly!
The closing date for receipt of entries is 30 September 2009.

Submitting Your Entry
We are accepting entries up to 17.00 on 30 September 2009.
Entries must be on CD ROM, which must be clearly marked with the name of the competitor(s), and the phase, and posted to the following address:

Winning entries will be announced and prizes given at the ICT Conference and Exhibition 2009 at Bridlington Spa.
