The National Audit Office have published a helpful guide to governing bodies that asks particular questions over a range of important issues - all
aimed at improving school performance.

Governor Development
 eRiding provides resources and ideas for many aspects of school governance.The Local Authority provides a range of in-house, cluster and LA-wide training, details of which are included in a
termly newsletter that is sent to all training link governors, Heads and Chairs.
The Training and Development Programme is monitored by a Governor Development Steering Group.
