We have recently completed a project involving a teacher on a placement creating a local study relating to the history of Beverley.

This learning journey is designed to provide resources and information on various aspects of life in Beverley, with a special focus on the Nineteenth Century.

Sources have been chosen to enable pupils to develop an understanding of the history of this community.

Themes include:

  • Trade and Commerce;
  • Education;
  • Law and Order;
  • Religion;
  • Social Life and Self Improvement;
  • and Transport and Communications.
