The Test
The test will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes - but the test itself is not timed.

Example of a TransIT test screen. |
TransIT has been designed to be adaptive to the pupil responses working
at Levels 3, 4 and 5 with a mixture of 'random' questions to allow
for individual testing.
All the questions have been developed and moderated by East Riding
teachers.
The TransIT test will produce an overall level for ICT and also levels
in separate discipline tests e.g. 'Control'.
All results are calculated on the computer and available for the
class teacher, for pupils and also for transition data.
Future Developments for the System
We plan to update the test so that it could be used 'diagnostically'
to assess pupils learning and for monitoring of progression in the
QCA ICT Units.
We are also responsive to feedback and would like to hear comments
or suggestions for development.
