mySiS - Managing Your School's Internet Site
School Websites Available from the Local Authority
mySiS Site Templates
The mySiS product is an easy to use Content Management System (CMS), designed to enable
schools to publish information on their own website quickly and easily.
The template provides standard navigation and frame design, but allows each school to personalise their site by applying their own
colours and branding.
The hosting of the site will be provided by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and ongoing support can be purchased via the schools
ICT support SLA (service level agreement).
Please find below the current charges for mySiS.
- SLA Development and Support Charge: £200 per year - includes 2 editors, additional editors would incur £25 charge per person;
- £125 charge for 1 full day training costs (per person). The training venue is at the Skirlaugh Council Offices;
- Hosted free by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
Schools should call the Helpdesk (01482 394444) to log their interest in mySiS then a member of the IT Schools Team will return
their call and provide further information and guidance.
Many East Riding of Yorkshire schools already have sites and the web addresses are available from the Schools' Websites page.
(mySiS websites typically have a .eriding.net suffix to their web addresses.)
