' Increased capability in the use of ICT promotes initiative and independent learning, with pupils being able to make informed judgements about when and where to use ICT to best effect, and to consider its implications for home and work both now and in the future. ' - www.nc.uk.net
This section contains primary ICT resources designed to support the delivery of control within schools.
Many of the resources have been compiled by an advanced skills teacher, as part of 'outreach' work carried out in schools
If you have resources you would like to share, please contact us using the information at the foot of the page.

Control Day
In this section, 'Control Day', please find the following:
- 'Control Day Workshop' Plans
- Traffic Light Flash Cards
- Powerpoint 'Help' files
- QCA documents for relevant ICT and DT units
Please note that the plans are merely suggestions and layout how the workshop was carried out in that particular school setting.
Hopefully these can be easily adapted to work in your own school setting.
There are two powerpoint 'Help' files.
One will work with Microsoft Office XP and the others for earlier versions of Microsoft Office.
These could be used either for staff training or during the workshop itself.
