Cognitive acceleration through science is proving to be extremely popular at both Key Stage 1 and 2 resulting in cohorts of children ready and able to cope with the demands of secondary CASE.
In order order to ensure science departments are up to date with CASE methodology and recent improvements we shall be running two days of initial training for CASE co-ordinators and deputy co-ordinators over the next two terms. Once this initial training has been completed there will be the opportunity for whole departments to receive initial training - details will be given out during the course. The second day of initial training will take place during the summer term.
Objectives:
  • To receive initial training for CASE @ Key Stage 3 using the King's College and CASEnorth approach
  • To meet the trainers who will be delivering departmental initial training
  • To discuss suitable strategies for maintaining CASE momentum and for providing the necessary challenge for pupils already familiar with the CASE approach.
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an admin. charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.
A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
