Information:
The aim of this course is to provide training for Training Assistants who are supporting guided writing and Writing Challenge at KS3 as part of the National Strategy. A half-day course has been chosen to try to minimise disruption to school routines. This course runs alongside Course S3C1736 which supports Intervention in Mathematics and may also be of interest to applicants.
Objectives:
  • To establish an understanding of guided writing and how it operates within an English lesson.
  • To build TA confidence in intervening to support Level 3 writers in moving towards Level 4.

 
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an admin. charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.
A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
