This unit is designed to support science teachers wishing to develop their teaching and learning in this key scientific idea.
Objectives:
  • To explore how misconceptions relating to classification and adaptation can be challenged
  • To use the idea of pyramids of numbers and biomass to represent relationships between the different trophic levels in food chains
  • To explore some contemporary examples of how humans can have an impact on the environment.
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an admin. charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.
