This optional unit is intended for science for science teachers who have identified a need to develop their own teaching of the key scientific idea of forces.
Objectives:
  • To explore some of the forces that are difficult to visualise
  • To identify pupils ideas and common misconceptions about forces and motion
  • To illustrate the use of diagnostic questions in the development of pupils' understanding of forces and motion.
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an admin. charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.
A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
