Information:
This workshop led by highly skilled professional sculptor Mark Powers is an introduction to the skills of carving into wood and stone and casting into plaster and concrete. There is a subtle literacy link in that all the carving and casting will feature the use and application of lettering.
Objectives:
  • To be introduced to or to further develop the basic skills of carving lettering into wood and stone.
  • To develop the skills of casting into plaster and into concrete using letter shapes.
  • To be introduced to skills and ideas which teachers can then develop for use in school.
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an admin. charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.
A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
