Information:
Schools and LEAs are accountable for the use of resources to support pupils with special educational needs. ERYC has piloted a scheme for the supported self-review of SEN, and it is intended that all schools will, over a four year period, undergo this monitoring review. The essential questions each school will need to be able to answer are:

  1. What financial resources are deployed for SEN pupils
  2. How are these resources used by each school?
  3. What difference does the deployment of resources make to the attainment and progress of pupils with SEN?
Objectives:
  1. To understand the process of supported self-review to be undertaken in monitoring SEN provision in ERYC schools.
  2. To consider factors which can be taken into account in demonstrating attainment and progress by pupils with SEN
  3. To map out preparatory action to be taken by all schools in order to undertake supported self-review of SEN provision.
Please note that failure to attend a course to which you have applied will result in an admin. charge of £10.00 unless a cancellation code is quoted.
A similar charge will be made if delegates attend without having made a formal application.
