Websites Promoting The Use of Digital Images
The following document was provided by the National Primary Strategy Whiteboard Network and gives the URL addresses of
many sites which encourage the use of resources such as the ones offered by the eRiding Media Library.
Museums
A number of museums have allowed us to gather photographic material from their collections and exhibitions, and to
these establishments we owe a debt of gratitude.
If you use any of the resources published on the site which are associated with a museum, please make the effort to visit the
venue and see the articles in person.
Photographs of the museums and their collections can never do justice to the actual experience of seeing in the flesh, or to the wealth of knowledge the museum staff often impart.
Contact names and addresses of the museums can be found from their own websites, linked to within the pages where appropriate.
The resources are copyright-free, and may be used to illustrate your teaching and
non-commercial educational activities, but wherever possible please acknowledge
the source of the material as being www.eRiding.net.
If you have any photographs, images, diagrams, presentations which are your own
creation that you think might be suitable and wish to share, please visit the Submissions page.
For more information or to provide feedback, please contact chris.a.brown@eastriding.gov.uk.
