Early Language Learning...Why?
It is an exciting time for Early Language Learning.
The National Languages Strategy stated "It will be the headteachers’ responsibility to deliver
the entitlement to language learning so that every KS2 pupil is offered the opportunity to study
at least one foreign language by the end of the decade."
Although this is now a government priority it will merely give further focus to the many
exciting initiatives, which are taking place in the area and encourage those who are about to take
the plunge to go ahead with increased enthusiasm, conviction and the necessary support.
We would very much welcome your questions, suggestions and information of any projects which you
may be involved in.
