' If you can give your son or daughter only one gift, let it be enthusiasm ' - Bruce Barton
Parents and guardians are the single most important influence on a child’s life and the quote above reveals the importance of that influence through the ages.
These pages will help you to help your child(ren) both in the academic sense and also in the day to day issues concerned with getting the most out of their education and life at school in general.
In particular, the links button to the left gives a number of sites that offer useful information for you, as you perform the most important job that people responsible for children perform in their lives.
We would like to recognise the human side of 'parenting' and would welcome any contributions that describe the joys and pitfalls of parenting.
Especially of interest would be the ways that difficult situations have been overcome and success achieved when once failure looked certain.
Your stories, if suitable for a site to which children have access, would, if you wished, be published anonymously and could provide other parents and guardians with a prop in a time of difficulty.
