How Will The Challenge Work?
The challenge rewards children who take part in physical activity through the Walking the Way to Health Scheme.
It encourages children to keep a record of their participation; enables measurement of participation levels and by offering rewards for
reaching a certain distance, encourages children to become more active.
The Process
- Children keep a record of their participation and the distance they have travelled by colouring in the segments that make up the diary;
- Children aim to achieve the first award, once this has been done the diary can be sent for confirmation;
- Children receive a certificate as recognition for participation;
- Children continue with challenge and aim to achieve next award.
