Active Breakfasts
Breakfast activity clubs will provide primary school pupils with the opportunity to try new activities and get a healthy breakfast before
school begins.
Breakfast clubs can provide both a nutritious start to the day and the opportunity to try new educational, social and fun game activities, helping to improve behaviour and boost concentration levels.
They are seen as having several important benefits, including increasing the number of children eating breakfast regularly, providing a
stimulating social environment for children, promoting healthy eating, encouraging children to arrive promptly at school and improving
educational attainment.
These clubs will provide pupils with the opportunity to try new activities in the form of skipping, Speed, Agility, Quickness (SAQ), fun
games activities and also help develop leadership skills.
