School Sports Partnership
Every school in England has the opportunity to be part of a school sport partnership.
School sport partnerships are families of schools that come together to enhance sports opportunities for all.
There are 400 partnerships with 3,200 School Sports Co-ordinator (SSCo) in secondary schools and 18,000 primary or special school link
teachers.
Within the East Riding there are 2 school sports partnerships, one based at the Sports College in Bridlington and the other based at
South Hunsley School.
The Bridlington Sports Partnership is split into 6 areas of families of schools:
- Bridlington;
- Beverley;
- Hornsea;
- Driffield;
- South Holderness;
- Withernsea.
The South Hunsley Sports Partnership is split into 9 families of school:

Each family contains secondary and primary schools.
