' Civilization is built on a number of ultimate principles...respect for human life, the punishment of crimes against property and persons, the equality of all good citizens before the law...or, in a word justice. ' - Max Nordau (1849 - 1923)
A PowerPoint presentation on assessment has been produced by the Citizenship CPD (Continuing Professional Development) team at the DfES.
It can be used by co-ordinators for the consolidation of their own learning about assessment or in a training situation.
Please read the notes before using the resource. These can only be accessed if you save the document to your local hard drive or server and then open in Microsoft PowerPoint.
In order to do this you must Right-click on the title of the document and select "Save target as...".
Give the file a name and a location, and then click Save.
Open PowerPoint and select File > Open to browse to the saved document, before opening it.
Once open in PowerPoint, the presentation's notes become available.
