Pupils' Area
Pupils' Area is for the publication of work by pupils in East
Riding schools.
If you have any work which you would like to share with other students in the East Riding (and the rest of the World!) please send it to us.
We would prefer electronic versions of your work, submitted via e-mail or on CD ROM; however we can also take 'hard copy' and convert it for publication on the website if you do not have the facilities or expertise to do it yourself.
We need to know your name, year group and a bit of information to about why you did the work.

Hornsea Community Primary School's Easter Patchwork
The poem and the patchwork are combined in a PowerPoint presentation.

The class 4LP Hornsea C.P. School performed the poem (which was written by their teacher, Lin Priest) and put the patchwork together at the Y3/4 Easter Celebration on 7th April, 2006.
The patchwork was made using paper, with clipart used to save time.
The finished patchwork is fairly large, and the children involved applauded simultaneously when they saw it fitted together for the first time.
The children noticed that the finished article is, by chance, in the shape of a cross.

Prayer Catcher
For the 'I Believe' strand pupils have adapted 'dream catchers' and called them 'prayer catchers'.
The prayer is attached and the colours of pipe-cleaners and beads and feathers symbolise natural things such as the earth, sun, water, fire, and sky.
