Assessment

The materials here are designed help you set curriculum targets and to decide the emphasis you need to give particular objectives. They build on day-to-day and unit-based assessment.

These materials do not aim to track children's progress through levels.

The National Strategies and QCA are working on materials to support teachers in tracking children's progress in relation to national standards, including National Curriculum levels.

These will be trialled and subsequently made widely available to schools.
