' Artsmark - recognition and reward for schools dedicated to the arts ' - Arts Council
An Artsmark is awarded to schools who show
a commitment to the full range of arts - music, dance, drama and
art & design.
It is a national award scheme and is managed by Arts Council
England.
The Artsmark is available to all schools in England.
It is awarded after an application, assessment and validation
process.
Schools can apply for one of three levels - Artsmark, Artsmark
Silver or Artsmark Gold. Criteria for each level is detailed in
the Application form and guidance materials.
Schools may apply for an Artsmark in December of each year.
Application forms and guidance materials for the new round are
generally available from each September.
