Welcome to the area of eRiding dedicated to the dissemination, teaching and learning of issues relating to the School Travel Plan.
A School Travel Plan is a document allowing a school to show its commitment to sustainable travel, while highlighting travel related issues.
One of a plans greatest strengths is the opportunity to consult with not only the school, but their wider community. School Travel Plan Advisors are now in place to help a schools working party develop their Travel Plan.
Once a school completes their Travel Plan they will be eligible for a Government Capital Grant of up to £5,000 for primary schools, and £10,000 for secondary schools.
