Each section clearly outlines the progression in both Attainment Targets and shows how these can be linked together using activities
that are commonly used by primary teachers.
Using this scheme will help you with planning, especially identifying the learning outcomes that would be appropriate across the
ability range of your class.
In consequence, it should also be much easier to identify and assess the progress being made by individual pupils.
Using this approach should also make it easier to give positive guidance to pupils when marking their work by clearly identifying what
they have achieved and/or what it is that they need to focus on next.
