Science week aims to :
- engage and inspire;
- promote discussion and understanding of what science, can and cannot achieve;
- promote knowledge of how scientists go about their work;
- promote science studies beyond the age of 16 as career options.
The following materials were written by consultants in the East Riding of Yorkshire and they aim to support teachers in the development
of and support of group work within their classrooms and to engage pupils.
Why not break from the 'traditional' science lesson and try these to promote discussion by pupils and discussion by your department about
the underlying pedagogy of group work within the classroom?
Pupils can enter the competition and any work done by your school can be shared here on eRiding.net.
