The Children and Young People's Participation Team promotes the rights of children and young people living in the East Riding of Yorkshire, or who are the responsibility of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, and who are considered 'in need'.

We encourage children and young people to influence services and decisions that affect their lives.

We provide a children’s rights service, independent visitors for young people with limited family contact, advocacy and support for young people with problems, and participation activities to help young people make themselves heard.
